I’m Jessa Karlberg – an experience designer and data visualizer with a background in software development, data analysis, and strategy consulting, plus a personal passion for community development and exploring how natural and built environments shape our personal and collective experiences. I love collaborating with others from diverse backgrounds to design meaningful, delightful, and effective solutions to important problems, whether in the physical or digital world.
I have a Master’s degree in experience design from Northeastern University, a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Colorado College, and almost ten years experience leading projects with Fortune-500 companies at a strategy consulting firm. I love learning and excel at quickly figuring out new software, tools, and approaches to problem solving. So far, I’m comfortable with:
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro)
- Coding (Java, Python, C#, C++, VBA)
- Web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Data visualization & analysis (D3.js, Tableau, SQL, MS Excel)
- Figma
- Physical prototyping (woodworking, laser cutting, 3D printing, electronics & robotics, sewing)
Thank you for your response. ✨
